Chamblee is moving ahead with the innovative Fish Bolt Park, a green space built around a functional pond that manages stormwater naturally. At 1900 Chamblee Tucker Road—between Peachtree Boulevard and the city’s MARTA station—the former detention pond is becoming a constructed wetland. This shallow marsh will filter runoff with marsh plants, blending ecological function with public space. The park will feature ADA-accessible paths, bike trails, seating decks, an elevated observation deck, erosi
