A Philadelphia police officer shot and injured a man who was wielding a knife in a North Philadelphia home early Wednesday morning, police said. The shooting happened just before 3 a.m. on the 1800 block of North Bailey Street, just off Montgomery Avenue, the Philadelphia Police Department said in a news release.
PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Three Philadelphia police officers were hurt during a traffic stop in Kensington early Thursday morning. The incident happened around 3 a.m. at Kensington and Allegheny avenues. Authorities say officers attempted to pull over a driver for code violations when the situation escalated.
